2023 OWTS SkillsUSA Results!!! Congratulations to all.

 

Oliver Wolcott Technical High School won 1^st Place in the Outstanding Chapter of all 17 Technical High Schools bringing home a 6-foot Trophy AND was awarded GOLD National Chapter of Distinction! This is two consecutive years running and is a testament to the caliber and dedication of our students to be the best of the best in the school, CTECS District, and the community! 

 

Going to Atlanta, GA to compete nationally and represent OWTS & Connecticut are:

 

• Abigail Royer, 1^st place in Cabinetmaking! (2 Years in a row!)
• Ethan Moore – 1^st place Carpentry!     
• Madison Dziedzic, Rachel Cartier, & Destiny Smith, 1^st place in Community Service! (2 Years in a row!)
• Benjamin Batchelder, 1^st place in Electrical Construction Wiring!Jack O’Charek, 1^st place in Skill Connect Customer Service (A CT only event, but can go to nationals as a voting delegate)!
