Oliver Wolcott Technical High School won 1st Place in the Outstanding Chapter of all 17 Technical High Schools bringing home a 6-foot Trophy AND was awarded GOLD National Chapter of Distinction! This is two consecutive years running and is a testament to the caliber and dedication of our students to be the best of the best in the school, CTECS District, and the community!
Going to Atlanta, GA to compete nationally and represent OWTS & Connecticut are:
- Abigail Royer, 1st place in Cabinetmaking! (2 Years in a row!)
- Ethan Moore – 1st place Carpentry!
- Madison Dziedzic, Rachel Cartier, & Destiny Smith, 1st place in Community Service! (2 Years in a row!)
- Benjamin Batchelder, 1st place in Electrical Construction Wiring!Jack O’Charek, 1st place in Skill Connect Customer Service (A CT only event, but can go to nationals as a voting delegate)!
