CT’s Technical High Schools Host Substitute Hiring Events

The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is hiring substitute teachers for Connecticut’s 17 technical high schools. Four (4) in-person hiring events will be held in September from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- September 17: W.F. Kaynor Technical High School, 43 Tompkins St., Waterbury
- September 18: Bullard-Havens Technical High School, 500 Palisade Ave., Bridgeport
- September 24: Norwich Technical High School, 7 Mahan Drive, Norwich
- September 25: A.I. Prince Technical High School, 401 Flatbush Ave., Hartford
CTECS substitute teachers are paid $155 daily. A bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience in the trades is required. Registration is required to attend. Applicants should bring their resume.
