SkillsUSA Fall Leadership Conference

On Friday October 27th, (10) SkillsUSA students from Oliver Wolcott participated in the statewide Fall Leadership Conference located at the Army Base in Middletown, CT. Over (184) students attended the event from the various CTECS Schools. Additionally at the same time (22) students from Connecticut created speeches, posters, and campaigned to be a future SkillsUSA Connecticut State Officer. The day started with inspirational messages from our interim superintendent Dr. Lowe followed by breakout sessions that included resume writing and job interview prep, SkillsUSA escape room challenges, SkillsUSA knowledge, Chapter Excellence Program Fundamentals,  The Army National Guard, Ice Breakers & Successful Chapter Meetings.
