Thanksgiving Dinner at the Community Soup Kitchen

A  40 year tradition of Wolcott Tech serving Thanksgiving Dinner continues with the assistance of our students, parents, and the Community Soup Kitchen of Torrington. We started at 7am serving breakfast and served lunch from 11 to 12:30. We also had time to restock the shelves with the items from our food drive as well.

 

A big shout out to the students, Riley, Bella, Matthew, Antonio, Laysha, Jasmine, and Gabby, our parents, Chef Jerry and Wolcott Tech staff members who helped out, and to the staff members that donated for the cause. All of your help is greatly appreciated.

 

A special shout out to Lisa and the crew at the Soup Kitchen who prepared the meal the day before for us.

 

It was a great day giving back to the community.
